Whilst other venues enjoy brief moments as the new "hotspot of London", Chinawhite is firmly established as one of London's most timeless, famous and aspirational members' clubs- presiding alongside top nightclub brands the world over. The club combines a formidable heritage with a distinct, progressive and modern approach. Once through the doors, still a bit of a task due to its popularity, you are enveloped in modern day oriental opulence. Chinese hand painted wallpaper, Balinese carved friezes, and touches of old and new Asia all create distinct changes in mood and tempo as you move through the club’s three rooms and restaurant. In fact, the restaurant offering is exceptional (certainly not the usual club food experience), thanks to head chef Adam Penney who has created elegant dishes such as griddled Hereford ribeye steak with seven spice butter, and risotto of sake, wilted rocket, English parmesan, truffle aroma and cepe powder. A fine meal and then some dancing……a whole night in one location, couldn’t be simpler!

Our guest speaker Harold Findley

Harold Findleywill talk about A Thousand Miles of History. which will open in Autumn. The piece is about the relationship between artists Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring and Andy Warhol. It's a real 80s extravaganza!

He is a member of the Young Vic’s Director’s Programme, Soho Theatre’s Writers programme The Hub and in 2008 he became a member of New York ’s Lincoln Center Theatre Directors Lab. As an actor he has appeared in numerous West End productions, and at The Royal National Theatre. In 2009 he collaborated with Chris Goode for the Royal Opera House’s Glass Houses. He has written and performed acclaimed solo theatre pieces across the UK and America, and he recently came out of acting retirement to perform in Sixty-Six Books, the inaugural production in the Bush Theatre’s new building.Future projects include the world premiere of his play A Thousand Miles of History about the 1980s street art scene and the relationship between the artists Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring and Andy Warhol.Harold trained at the Actors Studio, New York, University of Washington, Seattle, and the High School For Performing Arts, New York.Harold has recently been invited to be an artist in residence at Yaddo, the esteemed artist colony in Upstate New York.
